Planning a surprise proposal? I’ll help you work through the details so I can be in the right place at exactly the right time, ready to capture the surprise, the reaction, and, of course, the yes. Afterward, we’ll take time for beautiful engagement portraits together.
Planning a Surprise Proposal in Miami?
Planning a surprise proposal is exciting, but figuring out exactly how to pull it off can feel a little daunting. Where should you propose? What time will the light be best? Where will I be, and how do we make sure your partner doesn’t realize a photographer is waiting nearby? We’ll work through those details together so that when the moment arrives, you can focus on the question you came to ask.

I photograph surprise proposals throughout Miami and Miami-Dade County, from romantic beach proposals to gardens, parks, and other locations that have meaning to you. I’ll discreetly capture the proposal as it happens, including the anticipation, the reaction, and all those first few moments afterward.

Once the secret is out, we can turn the rest of our time into an engagement portrait session. I’ll guide you both through the photos so you can relax, celebrate, and enjoy being newly engaged while we create beautiful portraits to remember the day.
How it works
1. Tell me your plans. Let me know what you have in mind, whether it’s a surprise proposal or an engagement session, along with your preferred date and location.

2. Plan the details. For surprise proposals, we’ll work through the plan together, including the location, timing, where you’ll propose, and how I’ll capture the moment without giving away the surprise.

3. Reserve your date. I’ll send you a contract and payment information. Sign your contract and pay the 50% deposit to make it official.
​
4. Enjoy the moment. I’ll be ready to capture the proposal as it happens. After the big yes, we’ll continue with a portrait session together so you can celebrate without worrying about the camera.
Your photos
About ten days after your session, I’ll send you a private online gallery with your finished images.
From there, you’ll choose the number of photographs included in your package. If you love more than your package includes, additional images can be purchased.
Once you’ve made your selections, I’ll send you the final high-resolution JPEG files for download.
