Miami Cake Smash Photography for a Very Special First Birthday
Your baby’s first birthday is a big milestone, and a cake smash session is a fun way to remember all the personality that comes with this stage. Some babies dive straight into the cake, some carefully investigate it one finger at a time, and others decide they’re much more interested in everything else around them. Whatever happens, those reactions are part of what makes the photos so special.
We’ll start with a few first birthday portraits before introducing the cake, giving you a mix of sweet, classic photos and the wonderfully messy ones that follow. You can choose from available sets and décor, bring your own cake, or have me arrange one for you.
I photograph cake smash and first birthday sessions in Miami and throughout Miami-Dade County. The goal isn’t to get your baby to perform for the camera. It’s to create a relaxed experience where we can capture their expressions, curiosity, and personality as they celebrate turning one.
How it works
1. Get in touch. Fill out my contact form and tell me a little about your baby and what you have in mind for the session. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
2. Plan the details. We’ll talk through outfits, background décor, colors, cake style, and the overall look of the session so everything feels cohesive and personal.
3. Reserve your date. I’ll send you a contract to sign along with payment information. A 50% deposit is required to officially reserve your session date and time.
4. Have fun at the session. Then comes the best part. We’ll start with portraits and ease into the cake smash, keeping the experience relaxed, playful, and centered around your baby.
Your photos
About ten days after your session, I’ll send you a private online gallery with your finished images.
From there, you’ll choose the number of photographs included in your package. If you love more than your package includes, additional images can be purchased.
Once you’ve made your selections, I’ll send you the final high-resolution JPEG files for download.
